Micro suspension-type ERF valve for Inpipe movable micro machine
 
Micro homogenious-type ERF valve

印加電界でみかけの粘度が変化する機能性流体であるER流体(電気粘性流体)を応用し,可動部なしに電気信号で直接流体を制御することで,単純構造で高信頼,高応答な液圧制御弁(ERバルブとよぶ)を試作し,基本特性の検討,マイクロマシンを駆動するためのマイクロバルブへの応用などを試みている.
