チップ冷却平面形 ECFポンプ

ECF Pumps using Electro-conjugate Fluids (ECF)

Sawtooth-type Electrode

Electrical chips has a problem to solve, i,e, the performances are limited by amount of heat produced by the chips which is gradually increased according to the clock. However, the compact cooling system without noise for note-book-type PC are not available now. To solve the problem, a planar pump using ECF jet for forced cooling is proposed and developed, which utilizes jet flows of a new functional fluid ECF (Electro-Conjugate Fluid) produced by the applied DC voltage.

ECF-jets are produced between line-type electrodes by applying high voltages
Planar pump can be set back the flat panel as a pump and as a radiator
