Objectives

For realizing advanced mechanical systems such as micromachines using fluid power, advanced functional elements such as microactuators using functional fluids are developed and integrated.

- New actuators using functional fluids (electro-rheological fluid, magneto-rheological fluid, etc.)
- High output power piezoelectric micropumps using fluid inertia effect in pipes
- In-pipe working micromachines using fluid power
